Yesterday may have left us with new memories (some good and/or some bad), maybe some new worries, new hopes, new ideas, new opportunities, and something from which we can learn and grow. Regardless of what happened yesterday, today is a new day with new beginnings. We have the chance to start over. And we have new strength every morning to help us through. We also have the opportunity to choose and think new thoughts. We will have thousands of thoughts throughout the day. Researchers have found that a good portion of those thoughts are negative evaluations. And, they actually become habitual thoughts that we accept without question. As we become aware of this, we can begin to change and replace the thoughts we have about ourselves, others and our world.
Today, notice what thoughts come to your mind. And decide which thoughts you will accept and think on. Choose wisely and you will see yourself, others, and the world in a more positive, loving way. And, you will experience greater strength that brings joy.
